What they did

On a live account in the new Seller Central, the author used Claude Code with the Playwright MCP, read-only and in a visible browser he logged into himself, to find the 'parent and child sales by product' report a forum seller couldn't locate.

How it went

He reports the agent found it in four moves. It read every menu label and searched the page (no match), found the 'All reports' button on the dashboard, opened Business Reports → Detail Page Sales and Traffic By Child Item, and closed a tour modal and a survey along the way. It changed nothing.

We only report what the source says. Results are self-reported unless noted.

Worth knowing

His rules: you log in yourself, look-don't-touch by default, watch the first runs, and crop screenshots. The author works at Seller Labs.

From the source
Clone https://github.com/sellerlabs/slt-toolbox-public and set up ONLY the Playwright MCP, following mcps/playwright-mcp/README.md. In that folder run npm install and npx playwright install. Then register playwright-mcp-visible.js with yourself as an MCP server named playwright-visible, using the file's absolute path. Skip Lazy Hub and every other tool in the repo. Tell me when it is done.
